Tips for Choosing a Hotel with Views in New York
- Not all rooms have a view: Even in hotels with great vistas, lower-priced rooms often do not. Make sure to select a “room with a view.”
- Midtown vs Downtown: Both areas offer completely different views. Midtown → classic views (Empire State, Central Park). Downtown → modern skyline and Hudson River.
- Best views aren’t always from the room: Many hotels have rooftop bars or panoramic restaurants. Sometimes it’s worth it even if your room doesn’t have a direct view.
